A bunch of guys' that I work with had our annual trip to Winnie/Cutfoot today. I'd say we had 12-15 guys show up and had enough fish for a fish fry at GDP afterwards and some "to go" boxes as well. The best one boat did was all in Big Cutfoot, they had 3 guys in the boat and kept 13 'eyes. Our boat with 3 guys had 6 in the box with probably 15 slot fish, biggest being my 24". No real one productive area, just one here one there today. 11-14 fow seemed the best, when the wind laid down, so did the fish. One slot fish from the Gap area came in shooting eggs all over the place! Parrot colored jigs 1/8 or 1/4 oz and a shiner was the ticket. It was my first day out and man did it feel good!!! Also got a little sunburned face to boot! Hitting Bowtring tomorrow.

Dan, Hit Bowstring from 9 to 2 today and ended up w/ 12 'eyes. North end 6-8 fow, jigs and shiners. No big fish, just very nice eaters.

Fished Winnie this past saturday. Caught 12, brought 3 home. 2 fish came out of cutfoot in 7 FOW, the rest came from Highbanks it 16 FOW. Jig and shiner.
Lots of boats out there.

We fished Stoney, Mallard, Raven, and Sugar on Saturday from 10am-7pm. Caught 35 and kept 10. Where we found stained water the temp was a little higher and that's where the fish were. Without a doubt, it was the windiest conditions I have ever fished.

Fished Winnie this weekend (Friday afternoon-Sun morning). Didn't get to fish as many hours as we normally would due to Weather/family camping restrictions but all in all not too bad. I was expecting a more action based on reports but thats why its called fishing. Caught 38 walleyes for the weekend and we did not have problems finding eaters ( probably half). Kept enough for a fish fry on Sat. The perch kept things interesting though. Fished Highbanks, outside the Gap and near the Dishes and found most fish in 12 to 16 FOW. Jig and shiner or Rainbow chub (no difference for us), Jig color varied green/chart, parrot, and pink/white were the best. I really enjoy Winnie and Northland resort was great to us.
