Berkley has stopped manufacturing these items....but they really work in my area for crappies and sunfish. I'd love to pick up a bunch of packets. Anyone know of a bait shop that still has them????

I dont know where to gets these but I hate when they do this. Berkley did it to me about 4 yrs ago when they got rid of the Power Slug. It was the best stick bait ever. It had a slit in it for the hook, was heavy and came in black 6 inch that was killer for bass in cover. I wish I could get a mold and I would pour my own. You may want to call Berkley direct. When the Slug went down I was about to order a large amount from them. I still have a few after all this time. Good Luck

I have a few of the 6" power slugs still. I have a brown and gold flake laminate pack and a silver black pack. They are pretty good, not the best for wacky rigs though.

They still make them just in a different style and with more colors too!

I love the old ones and stocked up heavily on them last year. They had 15 in a bag and the new ones have 10. I really like the Black/Chartreuce Sparkle color as well as the Smoke Glitter.

Good fishing,

Corey Bechtold

No they are not good for wacky because they are heavy for that. I really love the way they dart when jerked.

As far as them still being made I think we are talking about something different. The ones that are similar are very thin in the tail and YOU CANT GET IN JUST BLACK. I think that also made a big difference.
