My dad and uncle went out and hit three eyes, 15, 16, and 19. All caught on Rapala's. They wanted to spend all night on bobbers, but I told them to give raps in the shallows a fighting chance, and that was all they caught fish on.

I have a feeling you might do alright. The Gulp Leeches have outfished the reel thing for me in the past. Of all the talk of the gulp leeches I hear, nobody ever mentions the fact that they don't ball up and foul out on themselves like the reel ones do. It is inevitable with a dozen live leeches, that two or three of them will ball up no matter what when hooked, and if you are fishing cold water like we have this spring, chances are more around 90% that the leech will ball up. I have had very good success with the Gulp Leeches, haven't even tried the alive ones yet, but I have heard nothing but good about them too.

One tip with the Alive buckets, don't peel the foil top all the way off, just enough to reach in and get your bait. When you close the bucket back up, having the foil lid will help seal the bucket up better to prevent the leaks that have been wreaking havoc on the alive buckets.

Gonna take my wife and kids out tomorrow for some Panfish. Are the Crappies and or Sunnies still biting in the channels?

did pretty well in the channel connecting the lakes this past Monday. Some really nice sunnies and a few decent crappies.
