Good luck to ya Dark.
I was out last night. Main channel hovering at 56-57 degrees. Today should bring it over 60 since the lows last night were above 55.
I will be out tonight prefishing and tomorrow night for the Moore's Bait contest as well.
If you see me and the classic 16 foot red lund with a 40 evinrude......please stop and say "hi"
Good luck to everyone getting out this weekend.

If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder by the year 2000. … This is about twice what it would take to put us in an ice age. —Kenneth E.F. Watt on air pollution and global cooling, Earth Day (1970)
Guru, I stepped outside and the first thought in my head was, "It sure feels like flathead weather". They could turn on in the next few days with the water dropping and the air temps in the 70s.

I worry a lot about Dark 30 getting into trouble while out wandering for Morels. I think we should all chip in and get him a radio tracking collar, like they use on wildlife. The satilite tracking would give us a map of every place he goes. Wouldn't that be helpful?? I also think we should get his wife a tee shirt that says LIPS THAT TOUCH CATFISH SHALL NEVER TOUCH MINE

Nice !! I got about 350 greys and blacks Thursday evening and found another 18 this morning in the same spots, but we really need a shot of rain and the yellows will get going, but that can wait till I get all the farming work done
