Did anyone brave the weather and fish the Cass chain?
If so, how did you do?

we fished cass saturday and sunday and between 19 of us we managed to get like 85 walleyes and only kept 75 because the other ten were over 24 inches with the biggest being 27 inches. it was a tough year for us with the late ice. we usually end up with around 250 walleyes between all of us.

thats still alot of fish, probably better than 75% others!! Did you get out on Andrusia? I saw a few boats having their livewell checked by the game warden Sunday night. Didnt fish long and no bites.

and you caught all or most of your fish there, that is pretty good. I'll have to give it a try, live bait?

IceFishing- Do you ever get over by the Flagpole hill on the east side of Andrusia, maybe 1/2-3/4 mile from the river coming from c
Cass? The last 2 years I have seen 15+ boats in front of that hill in about 8-12 FOW but this year there werent as many, I'm thinking because the river is more warmer. Anyways we have a lake lot there and a shed building is up and maybe a new home to be built this summer. I'll need to learn the lake for some walleyes, skis and whatever bites.
