Don't give our hot spot away. You guys crack me up forgot about the [Poor use of Words] to the bully. It took me 2 hours to clean all that fish. We need to make a trip to the land of the lost gill nets in early June maybe the 1 or the 8 both are sundays.

how did you do as far as walleyes are concerned? Odowds can be a pretty finneky lake when it comes to walleyes...

we never seem to catch them when targetting them but always by accident.

It was very slow, I got a couple of small 12-13" walleyes in the early morning around 3am but after that it was the dead sea. I was really surprised I had a very good fall out there I was hoping it would carry over to the spring but not so far. Odowds is a stocked lake with very little natural reproduction in it so it does not take long to take the lake down a notch. IDK There are plenty of pike in there but they were not biting either. If walleyes are what you are after I would try a different lake until the walleyes come back. They stock it every year with quite a few fingerlings and adult fish.

You aint kidding...I live in shako and have tried that lake for walleyes more than I care to admit. My uncle swears up and down there are still trophies swimming in there but thats hard to believe when I havent seen a decent one come out of there in the 5 years I've lived here.

Biggest one I have seen was a 22" and I caught that out of thole, throwing spinner jigs for pike.

Theres some real pigs in there walleyes and pike. I got a 38" off the pier last fall and saw a few walleyes over the 5lbs range. My PB out of there is 26" and 7lbs I got last fall. I'll try a few more times for walleyes and then wait till fall but pike fishing is pretty soild all year long. Don't forget the BASS theres some monsters out there, saw a 7+lbs caught last fall. Awesome bass lake

my cousin lives near the lake and fishes it a lot. From his reports there are a lot of big pike in the lake and he hooked into a monster seven pound smallie (i would probably say about five or six from the picture) but still a nice catch. He hasnt mentioned anything about the crappies yet

Yep...the bass are huge and plentiful. Witnessed my bud pull in a 7 pounder last summer with a worm and a bobber. But who wants to fish for them...if I catch a bass I throw it on the shore as it's illegal to release em. wink just kidding whistle

Hey Geppy, pretty sure what he caught was a large mouth...there arent any smallies in ODowd.
