have a group (10-12) coming in for a wedding first part of June...wondering what launches seem to be the best and can you rent a launch for your entire group only?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Go to Myr Mar. Dan Pearlberg and Mike Gannon are some of the best launch captains around. I believe they still do business out of Myr Mar! Request one of those guys and you'll be set to go.

myr mar launches where catching them sat at midnight. I heard 25" get called out once on the ladies boat, and saw many fish caught on other boat too.

One could also call paul at Appeldoorn's resort and check into Dave who I believe launches through the resort. I would bet that the service there is second to none.

Twin Pines on the west side has a boat you can rent out for private launches. We've had good luck going through them before.

Dave Hughley runs off the East Side as do the launches from Hunters Point Resort. Good people who know walleyes. Steve

You beat me to the Post. I would call Appeldoorn's first. They know how to take care of people

I'll second the Hunter's Point launch. George'll put you on the fish. But he is half way up on the east side of the lake, so it also depends on where you and your party are coming from. Plenty of options on the west side of the lake...but then, you're on the west side:-)

We took Scenic Bay's deal out last year around the 15th of June and rented out the entire boat. We had a blast. They put us on top of alot of Walleyes. I am sure whoever you pick is going to do a great job for you as they all seem to know the lake well.

We also have one at Hunter Winfield's Resort - Dereke Voge has worked the lake for a number of years and is a great captain!
