Has this lake started producing yet? Any walleye encounters or has there been any bass action in the shallows?

Sorry, didn't make it out.
I swapped out my locators to put the new Hummingbird on the console and when i was done, i was going to head on over.
However, i went to try the locator and i had no power. I guess i forgot to turn of the key a week ago after i put in another set of speakers. So i had dead battery.
I'm going to Tonka Friday.

I fished Fish Lake for the first time ever on Sunday. We were fishing for crappies and caught about 10 of them in 3 hours. 2 of them went about 9", the rest were considerably smaller. I did catch a very skinny 17" bass as well.

On a side note, there are hundreds of dead sunfish floating all over the place and stinking up the landing...

The landing always stinks...but i did see quite a bit of dead sun fish out there on Friday also.

I was only using plastics and trolling, but i only managed 3 bass for the day casting shallow.

Only Bass and Pike here.

Are there just too many lakes for you to fish them all or you just trying to save gas and hit the hot one?

Am I mistaken, or is bass opener this Saturday?

I have no idea when bass opens as i dont fish for them, but i cant control what bites my lures. I was casting jigs with Gulp shad for walleys.
