Just wondering if any bowfisherman out there are starting to see some carp start to spawn and rustle around in the shallows. I will be heading up soon just wondering how the action is going.

River,
I was out on Lobster on Sunday and saw a few moving around in the shallow reed bays. You mihgt want to check the regs for Lobster though as it is a Muskie lake. I don't know if it is legal to bowfish in a Muskie lake as they don't allow spearing at all. I'm not up on all my regs that i don't participate in.

The carp have just now started to come into the shallows in any decent numbers. I'd pick a small, shallow lake as it will tend to be warmer.
Things are way behind usual this year.
