I'm pretty flexible with the brand. My favorite is the 4" watermelon/white.

I'm gonna have to say the greenpumkin/chart. tail yum dinger is what gets um for me consistantly. The watermelon/red fleck is a close second.

Black is good simply because it provides a very visible and distinct siluette and white is good because it can stand out and resemble the flash of bait attempting to excape in a wide variety of water colors. That is my take and these are the reasons why I use alot of black and white.
