Does anyone have a recent water temp for pool 2?

Also, how does Lion Levee park launch look, Is ok to lauch a boat there or is the water too high? I have yet to make it down there this year.

i was out at lions levee a couple weeks ago and we launched fine. water temps were about 47 then, not that it helps you now.

Go to rivergages dot com. They take the temp at 9:00 am around here, so it's usually warmer by mid day, but it gives you a good idea of the temps in a stretch of river. You can also plot out the last weeks data and get a good idea of how fast it's warming up.

55 degrees on Sunday. 494 ramp was fine, did not look in at Lion's levee though.

I hit pool 2 twice last week and found water mostly in the 55-58 range, and even found it up to 61 in some backwater areas. The bite was a little slow, but I managed a few fish mostly shallow with the best being a 20" walleye and a 19" smallie. The Lilydale ramp was fine, though the water was high.
