I'm just curious to see how we all did over the weekend.

I went down to the river for about 45 minutes and hooked into one muskie and a few smallies. I wasn't catching anything legal, so I went home to spend some time with Mom.

I did get up to Mille Lacs Friday and Saturday; we caught seven fish, two of which we kept. It was pretty miserable out there yesterday, but it sure was nice to be out fishing!!!

I fished the horseshoe chain on sat evening in the rain for 2 hrs. and picked up 4 between 15 and 16 inches. Sunday, went out from 2-5 and got three, biggest 23.5 inches the others two were 15 and 16 inches. All and all pretty slow, but nice to be back on the water...

Really slow for me. I fished Grand from 8-11 Sun. and didn't get any hits. I talked to one guy that fished it Sat. with nothing to show either. The water temp was around 49.

Judging by the lack of replies, I'm not alone in saying I didn't do well.

Rice was very stained, and slow. I've not seen it that brown ever before. Green in the summer, yes, but brown at opener...no. Tried cranks, jigs, slip bobbering, but no pattern emerged.

We finally had a little action last night pulling cranks on Grand. Sand and warmer water. Caught two right at dark in 4', thought we were really going to get into them and got skunked the rest of the night. Better than nothing!
