No walleyes to report from me... but I did end up with a 51" Muskie on Lake Minnetonka.

I was slip bobber fishing with 6 pound test and an ultra light rod using a 1/8 ounce jig and a fathead. fought him for 20 minutes or so and some nice gentlemen borrowed us their large net.

There was two guys in a neighboring boat who took a picture, if you read this let me know as our pics did not turn out.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks for posting it. Like I said, it is a horrible picture but you get the idea of the massive size.

I really hope those two guys read this and contact me.

I'm the guy that was driving the boat the Sunday evening. I wish that I had better news for you however, the pictures of the beautiful muskey that you caught are no good. I was using my phone and was just to far away to really capture anything. If only I would have had my good camera.
For what it is worth I can attest to what a great fish it was and to your angling ability to catch it on six pound line.
I don't visit this site often and just saw your post.
Good Fishing

Congrats on the fish and I can feel your pain on the lost pictures. My personal best northern had pics taken on a disposable camera and nothing turned out. At least there were witnesses. grin

Twins 57,
Nice fish, congrats!! All I can say is hang out in the Muskie forum, pick up a few pointers and hit the 'tonka muskies again! You'll get a chance at another muskie pic on that lake.

robertok,
Only 5 posts in over 3 years registered? Jump in and join the fun! I've learned a lot about 'tonka here and actually have fished with other FMers on the lake, not a better way to learn new areas and techniques. Welcome!
