Wide open, ice left the lake on April 24 so it's had a couple weeks to warm up. Can't help with the temps, but if I had to guess I'd say 43 degrees.

Anyone have much luck on Reno this past weekend? We hit the lake at midnight while the lake was glass, but didn't catch much. Missed a decent one.

Saturday morning was ok, but didn't catch many fish once again. The afternoon the wind was blowing pretty good and didn't make it back out.

Got out there Sat am at 5:30. Caught one 18" at 6, 21" at 8, and a 19" at noon. SLOW. Males still were milking out. Also caught a 24" and a 32" pike. Marking fish but not hungry quite yet. Nice wet opener. Left at 1pm.

I just bought a lot on Reno last year and can't wait to get started. I haven't really fished it yet. How is the fishing for the different species and what techniques are good to start with?

I've had good luck fishing the northwest side of the lake. It's one of my favorite lakes to fish on full moons pulling clown rapalas around the weed lines. You will have no problem catching 5" perch. The walleyes you do get are usually full of them. Another good night spot is out front of the Green Iguana.

Hello,

Any reports on Reno for walleyes this weekend? I've never fished Reno but heading up for Memorial day and wondering any pointers or methods that may put some eaters in the boat? Heard it was a great lake for walleye!
Thanks to all in advance.
