Just bought a 2000 lund pro v last year and the back live well my kids call the pool. Don't want it full all the time is there any way to empty it so I don't have the extra weight?

Also with the back one being all I'll ever need does anyone have any tips on using the front live well or bait tank as coolers?

There should be lever of some sort that shuts off the valve that empties the live well. That should keep the water from backing into it. Also make sure live well pump is off, sometimes there is cycler that turns on that gives fresh water to live well. As for using front cooler or bait well for cooler check to see if there is an over flow that empties out the side of boat.If it does on wavy day sometimes you get water forced back into live well.
Im going off my boat witch is a fish and ski fiberglass boat. I'm not familiar of lund.
But these are some things to look for. I use my bait well for a cooler and it works great

Somewhere near the operators station (or console, depending on the boat) you should see some levers or rotational looking controls - set it to "fill" and it won't fill up with water when you're on the water.

To use the front one as a cooler, set the control to "fill" and you're good to go. It won't fill with water.
