The brookies are biting good as we landed 20 fish in 2 days all between 17 to 24 inches. giddy up!!

what are your tactics for fishing for those guys? I've never really fished for trout in lakes, and definitely never for brookies. Nice fish!

Brook trout fishing can be very frustrating at times but spring is always a good time to fish them and so is the fall. Ice fishing is also one of my favorite times to fish them. Right now they are bunched up toghether but are only active for short periods of time during the day. The water temp is below 40 yet and very cold. we caught most of our fish in less than 8 feet.
