Minnows.

I say that some Brave Launch should hold a Opener Cup Tournament for a huge prize money and really put the pressure on these guides and pros. If the canadian only new that the Govener of Minnesota land of 10,000 lakes only caught 1 walleye they would retire fishing!

Paul is right on. I feel crawlers are a bait that is not one ones list this time of year.

Also the cranks sound pretty godd also.

if u had to choose between both i would go with the minnow i mean its natural to the lake and its walleyes primary food along with other fish

Leaches did well for us opener. Small red hook w/bobbers by day, then glow jigs w/bobbers by night. all in shallow 4-7 ft
