I went down to the Warroad public access last night around 6:00. The river is wide open and there is open water for about 2 mile's out. After that, ice for as far as the eye can see. Look's like we might be ice fishing on opener, eh? 1DIRTBALL

at least we can use 2 lines

I was out fishing last night in warroad. with the north wind ice chunks were being blown right into the river. picked up 4 pike 39-32. the people fishing off the docks were catching way more than we were in the boat!

neat pics. thanks todd. i am assuming there will be ice on opener so we post poned our opener trip for june 6-8th. maybe the ice will be gone by then
