I got a whole lot of really great advice on buying a new boat here and I thought I'd post pictures of it and say thanks for everyone's help. No fish and it was darn cold and wet but great fun. Here are a few pictures (most taken the day before it turned wet).

Verry happy for you. Your addrenalin must have been on overload. My first time out in my boat I think I left my brain in the truck and almost took out dock, no damage happily

Nice boat EricD! I noticed you look like you're smiling while getting gas! Funny!

I'm smiling because it's cheaper than the diesel I have to buy to tow it. smile

What do they say - the two best times of boat ownership is when you first buy it - then when you sell it?

I never believed that myself...

Nice ride, have fun in that thing. Hope you got some fish in there on opener. I just managed some bull heads.

Thanks, everyone. Now I have to figure out how to take care if it. The owners manual is woefully inadequate. For example, do I wax it, do I wax the bottom too, and with what? I think this site is going to be a big help.

Unless they mean you're happy to sell it because you'll be buying a newer/faster/bigger/better/all this means I'll be able to catch more fish - one.
