Spent the evening with Lowblazah casting for whites. We put the hurt on quite a few up until dark. It can only get better now. Those white tipped ruff fish should be doing real good by the weekend too! I'm thinkin a fish dinner with stir fried morels is in my near future!

What time is supper Dark30?? I'll be doing the river with Doc Z on Saturday, I'm sure I'll have some stories after that.

I can't stand it! I sat at my daughter's ball game this evening and peered into the woods wondering.....when are they gonna pop?
I did sneek down to the river for some casts after the game...one nice fat white bass and one very big white tip.

Sure its warming up......but the creek we were in on Wednesday had 23 feet of water in it....and unless you knew where the mouth was, you wouldn't have even known it was there. The river is basically out of it's banks and still rising.....and not expected to crest until Sunday.
Lots of full size 50-foot-plus logs floating around out there.

I like the pic, edible work of art. Just need to fry them up along with some crappie fillets and fresh wild asparagas. Wash it down couple of wheat beers then fresh warm rhubarb pie alamode for dessert. That's what we've been waiting for all winter!
