Keyless Entry on Ford

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus and the keyless entry began acting goofy the past few weeks. At first when I went to unlock/lock the doors, the panic would trip and so would the trunk release. Within the past several days, nothing happens at all now. I replaced the battery tonight and still nothing. Is there any button combo to reset it or reset it with your car somehow? Or is it dead?

To reprogram it cycle the ignition switch from off to run several times, like 8? with out hitting the starter when the door locks lock and unlock stop and leave key in run position, push a button on the key fob, the door locks should cycle again, do this with each key fob you want programmed to the car, then turn the key to off the doors will lock and unlock again. The keys fobs should be programmed to the car now. It will erase any fob that was previously programmed that you didnt just program.
