For a Lab size dog, 1 St. Joseph Children's aspirin is all that's needed.
Good Luck!

I know when my lab had to start aspirin, the vet told us to make sure it was buffered aspirin (it will say right on the box/bottle if it is buffered). This type is supposed to be easier on the dog's stomach and prevent ulcers that regular aspirin can cause. We use the low dose, 81mg strength.

Local pet stores and internet stores both sell pet aspirin. Buffered and chewable. Dispense as directed on label for weight of dog.
Much easier than jamming down their throat or mixing with food or peanut butter.
You can tell it works.

With our last Lab we were told we could use, this is going to be spelled wrong but here goes,
Ascripton, Ascription something like that. You will find it on the same shelf as the other leading aspirin meds.
