Spent some time on Chisago this morning. Fish were active in areas where you could find 49 degree water. Depths were 4-7 feet and white tubes seemed to work the best. Main lake held larger fish but the numbers were in the back bays...

yeah thats why Im thinking something was amiss, lowest temp I saw both days was like 56. When I go out this weekend ill have to ask someone what they are getting on theirs and see how far off it is. its a brand new boat and depthfinder installed by the factory so i dont think it is in a bad spot or anything.

Went out to Chisago on Mon (5/12) and fought the wind for about 5 hours, midday. Ended up with a limit of crappies...and two big bull sunnies !

Looking to head out on Chisago tomorrow after work. Anybody have any recent reports. Not looking for anyone's secret spot, just general info.
