Sarah is one of the best when it is on. From what what I am getting it is very slow. I spent the weekend on Shetek and it was dead sea. I talked to a couple of guys that spent the weekend on Sarah and say thing there. I think this weather really has the messed up right now.

I would have a hard time arguing that. Hard to beat Sarah for open water walleye.

Sarah.

I've had on and off and good and great days on Sarah. However, it's never dead. Sarah is the textbook example of a lake telling you that you're doing something wrong. There is always a good bit on Sarah, if you're not part of it, you should change your tactics.

Walleye, just to reference, you know it is illegal to target walleye right now. Fishing for perch or crappie or gills is leagal, as there is no season, but targeting Walleye right now could put your foot into some doo doo.... if you know what I mean. I wanted to just let you know this, not as a slam, just as information.

Yep, never said I was going for Walleye. Just said was going to check the lake out. My little guy is a crappie magnet so I thought I would take him out fishing. Weather looks to be rainy again tomorrow too.

I hope so too, he was pretty bummed he did't get anything on Shetek on Sunday. Any good spots on Sarah for Crappie? I tend to work Yankton lot during the year and they don't have the docks out yet there.
