I haven't fished in that direction too often. In general, July means fishing reefs, humps and sunken islands for walleye. We generally troll spinners with minnows, leeches or crawlers (Gulp is fine too) using bottom bouncers. If/when we find a school, we'll vertical jig. In the evening, we'll troll crankbaits on top of reefs or along island shorelines. LOWT isn't a night bite lake.
Spinners - gold, silver, orange and chartreuse. Jigs - white, chartreuse, gold Cranks - minnow raps or shad raps - firetiger or gold/black
I don't know that area for crappies or perch. You could try the Elbow in Obabikon Lake or in Miles Bay - but not exactly primetime. Crappies are going to be deep. I'd go for smallies instead.

Hi CaptDoug. I know that area well. I run my own guide service as well. Sounds like a good trade. I put my guests up on a houseboat that's already set up on one of the islands before they arrive. Maybe I can help you out if I'm not busy. http://www.hooknbullet.ca Give me a call 807-548-2037
