First of all, I want to thank you guys for the advices on the fly rod sticking issue and using the woolly bugger.

After a lot of practice and patients, I was able to land this rainbow on a #10 black woolly bugger. It's not my first trout by any means, but the 1st one with a fly after 2-3 season of trying to catch one. In addition, after landing this guy, I was able to pull in half a dozen more until I lost the fly in the trees.

Congrats on landing that first trout on the fly. Hope it's the first of a lifetime of flyfishing for you.
