If you make it that long then you are going to want it a tandem with brakes. DOT laws states that any trailer 3000# GVW has to have trailer brakes. Besides, could you imagine what your brakes would be like trying to stop it?

Anybody have any thoughts on the Aluminum, and possible salt corrosion, or is the Alloy used, more resistant???
Other than that possibility, Aluminum would sure be the way to go...

30-40 below (or worse even) on rough winter roads and even rougher ice roads. Not gonna catch me trusting aluminum.
