How come our fish have such different colorations? Mine was caught in early March of last year on pool 2. They clearly look the same except for the coloring. Could it have something to do with the fact that Rugby's came closer to spawning time?

The color of the water and what's in it can have something to do with it. Such as, the Tamarack bogs up north have tea color water and give Walleyes a dark gold color.
