I've always wanted a bassboat, so after a long saving, I finally got one. It's a big jump from my old boat, a 14' w/trolling motors only. She does fly, I've only gotten her up to 79.35gps, that was with an out of the box prop. I'm still dialing in my prop. Once it's just right, low 80's is in the forcast. Oh yeah, I don't go that fast all the time, I mostly go about 50ish, but it's good to know if I need to, it's there. Edit: I think it's actually dangerous to go that fast, It's impossible to avoid anything on the water. I feel sorry for those little swallows that always fly low just above the water. Killed 2 already.

That's fast to be skippin over the water. I've only got my boat up to about 35/40 and that seems fast on the water. Twice that is unbelievable. Have fun with the new toy, that's a nice leap from what you had.
