The pike is king!

It's been ages since I have visited FM but I just spooled up my pike fly reel and can't wait to get out there after the waterwolves.

Welcome back, and with a log in name like you have I hope you do so more often! There are a few fly guys that you'll probably be able to get some good posts going with!

I like this forum. A group of us here in Colorado make several Pike fishing trips a year to Nebraska just for the Pike. Both on the hard lid and in the spring. We are acutualy leaving tomarrow for our annual spring outing. Can't wait.

Sorry to report, but never made it to Nebraska for our Pike trip. A severe winter storm and bizzard in NE Colorado and western NB Friday afternoon made us decide not to travel. A normal 6 hour drive to our destination, probably would have turned out to be 10 or more. Headed south of Denver instead a couple of hours to do some Bass fishing.
We may try again in a couple of weeks.
