I had an old lazer hand auger that I had my cousin (a machinest by trade) cut off the handle and machine it down to 1/2" and then he milled 3 sides of the cut piece so it wouldn't slip when I chucked it up in the 1/2" keyed chuck. As far as the V18 grinder, that is still up in the air. Haven't heard any dates for launches on the new tools. We are only told when it is due to launch within 3 months.

Nate

Dewalt's 18v 1/2" cordless impact. We use them at work for just about everything and they are super handy around home in the shop as well. Skip the ratchet and get er' done!

My favorite power tool in working construction for 40 years as a plumber has to be the SAWZALL.Espically for remodeling.

Fav. tool I don't own..........trackhoe

Fav. tools I do own........Telehandler, my truck and trailer, all of my air nailers and staplers. These things alone have made the construction world what it is today.

Gotta be my Delta 56" table saw with the Biesmeyer fence. That thing can flat out cut.

Honorable mention: Every router I own (5 of them), Kreg poket hole kit, air nailers/staplers.
