I am thinking about camping at one of the parks this summer, I have never been at these parks. Which one should I pick for fishing purposes, looking for bass, walleye and panfish? Thanks for the info.

Green is a good choice also Games lake would work nicely for you. Both can get quite busy at certain times of the year.

I'd go Green northeast several other lakes within short distance so you have plenty of choices to fish and other recreational things to do. Its also pretty quiet in that area.

I have stayed at Westrich RV park and love it. They have a lake that has some great panfish and it is less than a mile to Green lake. It is a new campground, and is one of the nicest I have stayed at.

lots of people at the Diamond campground this weekend. checked the fish cleaning house and people either didn't want to battle the smell and clean their fish in it or they didn't keep many fish. Just a few small northerns and a couple crappies.

We found the walleyes but they ran small...ended up with 6 of 'em between 14 and 16 inches and the rest were all pretty dang small. Got some nice sunnies and an 8 pound northern but they weren't easy to find. Overall a fun 4th of July weekend!

Thanks for the update Sartell, it sounds like you got a meal anyway, that is all I am looking for.
