Anyone out there recommend an upright exersice bike for my wife and I??? I'm looking for a good quality model, comfortable, good range of resistance, resonable price, and most of all QUIET. Any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

Im a little biased as I worked at Erik's the last few years, but the Saris models are really nice. They have a lot of adjustability in them as far as fit, and they actually run on a chain that is en-cased (dont need to add lube of any kind and wont get on your pants or legs) and is greased; versus many other models that have a leather strip that is used as the resistance that will wear out after enough use, and is hard to get replaced. Tension adjustment is on the bars. Anywhere from $950 to a full power tap model thats $1600 or so.

The Lemond's are very smooth pedaling, but do use the leather strip design. It is a very smooth exercise bike though. $1000

both companies have very informative websites, or there is a new Erik's in St. Cloud fairly close to you if you would like to see either of them.
