It was Kent Hrbek on WBL. He was in one of those crazy fishing contraptions and they didn't catch a single fish. Poor Kent didn't have anyone to guide him this time!

I thought that Fishing the Widside on Ice was great last year. I see that it is not around anymore. That was one that you could count on and was not too bad to watch. For what we have aroudn here it was great.

At least you guys get some kind of ice fishing shows, here in NY they don't even show them unless In-Fishermen does a show or something. Need some NY guys doing some ice shows.

We do get a few icefishing shows here in MN.

Waters & Woods w/ John Gillespie & Midwest Outdoors seam to be the only two that are left. In-Fisherman pops a few episodes in here and there but the 1st two are pretty consistant with their ice fishing coverage. Kent Hrbek Outdoors gets in on some action as well as Ron Schara and his sister show- Due North Outdoors which is seriously becoming one of my favorites.

Fishing the Wildside On Ice was awesome but that show is gone now.

Due North is beginning to grow on me as well. I like Midwest Outdoors, as that has been a favorite show of mine as long as I can remember. I remember way back when channel 5 used to have 2 hours of fishing shows on Saturdays in their Hook Line and Sinker bit. I watched religiously.

There's always Babe freakin' Winkleman. I keep waiting for the episode where he finally completes his transformation into a werewolf.

There's a few on this morning. Midwest Fishing, Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen. I didn't see InFish, and Babe had his producer fishing peacocks in Brazil. I'm sure these programs had really high ratings this morning with the -30 windchill.

Tony Dean is on FSN on Sundays. Pretty much all the fishing shows started their season again after the 1st of the the year, except for Gillespie who is all year long.

That’s one of the reasons I really enjoy watching Gilespie. It’s always current.

While I feel one might learn a bit more from the Lindners, it’s fun to watch footage from the past week.
For example this past Sat, they were on the ice out on Winnebago and getting pounded by rain with lightning and thunder in the backround, the holes turned into a vortex that looked like a drain, and they were soaking wet. Something you won’t see very often on the other shows.

I can't remember the last time i've even had time on a saturday morning to to catch a fishing show luckily monday nights on the outdoor channel is fishing night but never any ice fishing.

When I did have time to catch them Gillespie was a favorite. I've never seen someone get so excited while on the ice. I guess it never hurt to have a few Linies with some Johnsonvilles?

I sure wish there was a way you guys could record and stream me the video's. I'm stuck watching open water fishing here, don't get me wrong I love to fish and hunt period but I want some on the ice action that is current. I just got done watching some OLD In-Fishermen video's to hold me over but the stuff they were using was older then dirt compared to everything out there today. LOL I want some on the ice, contour map in hand, flasher / camera being used and showing us how, why, when and results of what they are doing. With all the trap attacks that went on you would think they had some video's out there with tournament action and what's being used.

Chip Leer is now at In-Fisherman and they are in the process of shooting an all new show for next year that will be exclusively ice fishing call In-Fisherman on Ice or something like that. It will air on Fox Sports Net Stations across the ice belt.
