I caught these guys on Mille Lacs on Thursday, April 16. One of them is 12.5" and the other is around 12".

Yep. Ice was mush but still thick at about 2 ft. You could dig with your foot and get about 3 inches down. Also ice was starting to honeycomb in a few places.

Caught 13 more on Saturday between 10"-12". Fished the same holes. Didn't even bring the auger with me. here are some pics.
