I find myself with a week off over christmas> Options are drive 8 hours to lake of the wood and ice fish or hook up the boat and drive 10 hours to southern Mo.Wondering is the bass fishing worth the drive that late in december? Or would i be better to freze my butt and fish wallys?

That's a personal choice! This bass fishing can be Quite good in Dec, then again fronts may be moving through and shut them down real good also. That would be a tough call. Good luck on which ever you do.
