Elm Creek park has some nice trails. You can also ride all the way to Coon Rapids dam from there for an afternoon of fishing.

I live in andover and more than once ridden from coon rapids dam over to elm creek park. If I recall it is about 7 miles between the two, makes for a great ride. I still have yet to cover all of the trails in elm creek. Last time I was over there, they have a few miles of off road (dirt, grass) trails that are quite grueling.

On the Coon Rapids side, they have good free maps of the bike system. In the visitor center. Nice place to visit and fish also.

Rode Elm Creek yesterday. Nice series of trails, a little muddy. Also took the regional trail over the 169 bridge.

There is a single-track built by MORC in the area adjacent to Theodore Wirth that has to be seen to be believed......
