Pleasant, from what I heard, was alright. I saw a few fish caught on casting crankbaits on the shallow bars on the NW end near the access. I, however, didn't do the greatest. I fished pretty much the whole lake Sat morning, anywhere from 8-25 feet

Some GPSs seem to cut off at 1.0 mph. my old magellan did that. My 332 doesn't. I don't think my go2 does either. I always thought it was a software thing to keep the speed from jumping around while you are standing still.

There is awesome fishing in the Elk River Area. You float the stretch from Monticello to Elk River, and it's probably one of the best small mouth fisheries around. Also - check out the "Annandale - Buffalo - Big Lake" forum - lots of gre

The best way Leech is getting rod sleeves that cover up the rods and prevent tangles. They are awesome! Cabelas' makes a good set, but most outdoor stores have them.
