Slot limits may limit the amount of fish you can bring home, but they will increase the amount of fish available to catch. I fish with my boys who are young. They have only known "slot limits" so they except them. Us older folks grew up

when using slip bobbers, do you have better results using a jig head or plain hook?? Does it matter what bait is being used?? Depth?? I almost always use a plain hook, so am I missing out?

Pike Bay has little structure and is tough to figure out. I'm sure you'll be fine though as I doubt there will be no shortage of boats in there to secretly steal tips. Have fun!

If you do texture the walls, they will be much more difficult to patch if you need to at a later date. Don't know if that is a concern of yours, but patching orange peel is very difficult and takes a steady experienced hand. Good Luck!

Nitro, It took my all most 3 months last summer to get my "hot rod" plates, which are basically the same thing as collector plates. Now, mind you I was over charged at first, received a check in the mail (out of the blue) from the state

Had a good evening managed 10 walleye 5 of which were between 15-18" couple of pike biggest being 31". I was using jig/minnow combo fishing 5-10". All fish came just before and after sunset.
