MWA Meeting Information

We will be holding our monthly meeting on Wednesday Jan. 17th at the Richfield V.F.W. in the basement meeting room. It is located a couple of blocks South of Hwy 62 on Portland Ave So.

Meetings start at 7:00 PM and are always held on the Third Wednesday of the month.

It is important that all current members attend so we can nominate and elect new Executive Officers to the board for the up coming year.

We are also in the process of establishing a State Board and will take nominations "only" from our chapter for these positions. The Brainerd chapter will also provide nominees shortly and all will be compiled on a ballot sheet with a brief history of each person for an election in February

The goal of the MN Walleye Alliance is to improve the walleye fishing here in this state. While this is still our main goal for all chapters, It seems to be an up hill battle especially after reading about all of the poachers in the paper lately.

Maybe directly helping put in more fish is not the real answer at this point in time. Maybe we would be better focused on helping increase law enforcement at some of the locations mentioned in the articles.

Join the Alliance and let your voice be heard to it's fullest extent. We can't get it done by sitting on our hands or expecting others to do it for us.

We all have to pitch in!
